Matteo Cairoli returns to action this weekend in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup as Nürburgring hosts the second round of the high-profile series.
Following more than one-month break, the 24-year-old Italian racing driver gets his Dinamic Motorsport' Porsche back, alongside his German team-mates Christian Engelhart and Sven Müller.
At Imola, on late July, a number of issues prevented them to claim a better place than 10th overall after a tough qualifying.
"I am looking forward to this weekend's race", Cairoli explained. "The test we made at Nürburgring with the Dinamic Motorsport's 911 GT3 R car went well. I raced here last Saturday on the old track, in the NLS. Christian and Sven raced in the ADAC GT three weeks ago [with Müller as a race winner]."
Free practice will take place at 09.00 on Saturday. Pre-qualifying gets underway at 13.35 and final qualifying at 19.10. The six-hour race will commence at 11.45 on Sunday, with live streaming online at www.gt-world-challenge-europe.com.
