Matteo Cairoli is set for a busy weekend as he will face a double commitment at Nürburgring and Barcelona. At the Montmeló track in Spain, the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup heads to the fifth and last round of the season. A season that kicked-off at Monza where Cairoli claimed a brilliant victory sharing the Dinamic Motorsport's Porsche 911 GT3 R car with Christian Engelhart and Klaus Bachler, ahead of a series of unlucky events that edged out him and his team-mates from the title battle.
"There is no harm in trying. So we aim to finish the season in the best possible way", Cairoli said. "It will be a difficult weekend as I will be in two different tracks... that is a real interesting challenge."
From now to Saturday the Italian racer will be in Germany to take part in the ninth and last round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie NLS driving another Dinamic Motorsport's Porsche alongside Michele Beretta and Adrien De Leener, after claiming a P5 on early September with Frenchman Romain Dumas.
Saturday Matteo will fly to Spain, at the Montmeló circuit. Just in time for the morning qualifying, with the 3-hour race scheduled at 3pm, live streamed on https://www.gt-world-challenge-europe.com/watch-live.
