Matteo Cairoli targets strong GT World Challenge Europe Endurance finale at Circuit Paul Ricard this coming weekend, 14th/15th November. After producing a sensational performance at the 24 Hours of Spa, claiming a podium finish in the Dinamic Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R, the Italian racing driver is set for season showdown.
Cairoli, who secured a brilliant victory at Nürburgring pairing with team-mates Christian Engelhart, Sven Müller, arrives in France sharing the series' lead with the Mercedes trio Boguslavskiy/Fraga/Marciello.
“After finishing as runner-up in more series, I go to Paul Ricard targeting title success”, Cairoli said. “I have good memories of this track. We are all very highly motivated. The team did a great job so far and we have a great car. Shame that at Imola we paid a drive though and had a problem during the first pit-stop.”
Free practice will get underway on Saturday at 08:00, ahead of pre-qualifying at 13:15 and final qualifying at 17:20. The six-hour race will start on Sunday at 11.45 with live streaming online at https://www.gt-world-challenge-europe.com/live.
